In The Journey Home: Live from the Kennedy Center, baritone John Brancy and pianist Peter Dugan explore themes of longing, loss, and the search for peace in the wake of catastrophe. Their new album is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed A Silent Night: A War Memorial in Song, which paid homage to the centennial of World War I through the music of composers who lived through, fought in, and died in the Great War. This week, John Brancy and Peter Dugan are Oliver’s guest for an hour-long episode.
