An unspoken song, sumptuous orchestration, a love story inspired by the myth of Tristan and Iseult, and a poetic atmosphere: so many elements that make Claude Debussy’s Pelléas and Mélisande such a bewitching work. Debussy’s opera, is sumptuous as it is enigmatic and is carried by a delightful cast including: Adèle Charvet, Huw Montague Rendall, and Nicolas Courjal. With the Rouen-Normandie Opera Orchestra and the Dijon Opera Chorus conducted by Pierre Dumoussaud.
