Celebrating the career of Duain Wolfe, the second director of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Zell Music Director Riccardo Muti leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9. The broadcast begins with choral selections from Verdi’s Messa de Requiem, Macbeth, Nabucco, and Otello, all recorded for CSO Resound.
