Klaus Mäkelä is Chief Conductor of the Oslo Philharmonic, Music Director of Orchestre de Paris, and Artistic Partner of the Concertgebouw Orchestra—already named the Concertgebouw’s Chief Conductor beginning in 2027. The Finnish cellist turned conductor celebrated his 27th birthday earlier this month. This week, Oliver shares a performance which opened the Oslo Philharmonic’s 2021-22 season.
