The theme for Golda Schultz’s debut solo album with pianist Jonathan Ware begins with the question “what if a woman wrote the song?” Golda Schultz, who stars in Lyric Opera of Chicago’s upcoming production of Carmen, joins Oliver to survey the album This Be Her Verse which showcases repertoire written by women, about women, highlighting the female experience.
