This retrospective features Leonard Bernstein leading the Philharmonic in his own music. The program opens with the world-premiere of Chichester Psalms, followed by the Symphony No. 3, Kaddish, and Suites 1 & 2 from The Dybbuk. Former Philharmonic Archivist and Historian Barbara Haws, and the composer’s daughter, Jamie Bernstein, are featured guests. Alec Baldwin is your host on The New York Philharmonic This Week.
