Sara Davis Buechner is one of the most original concert pianists of our time, noted for her musical command, cosmopolitan artistry, and visionary independence. After coming out as transgender, she was shunned by the classical music industry, losing out on many career opportunities in the process. Decades later, Buechner finds herself in a more accepting world and is proud to support other LGBTQ+ musicians. Buechner comes to the WFMT studios to present her playlist of important female artists.
