Christian Thielemann returns to the CSO podium to conduct Bruckner’s Eighth Symphony. The broadcast also includes Wagner’s Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan and Isolde, led by Daniel Barenboim, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s ninth music director from 1991 until 2006.
