Jaures Lamarque Pons is one of the giants of the classical music in Uruguay. He combined a skillful technique with his taste for the urban and rural folk music of Rio de la Plata. He was also active in the field of popular music, as a jazz and tango pianist. Fiesta will present some of his fascinating chamber and orchestral music.
