In her only Chicago-area performance this season, Simone Dinnerstein headlines Oak Park’s Schubert+ Festival next month with a recital program that features Schubert’s Sonata in B-flat Major and includes works by Couperin, Glass, and Robert Schumann. The distinctive American soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, and entrepreneur is committed to giving concerts in non-traditional venues and to audiences who don’t often hear classical music. She joins WFMT for Music and Conversation hosted by Henry Fogel.
