Through his uniquely compelling and generous performances, Rolando Villazón has established himself as one of opera’s most critically acclaimed and beloved stars and as one of the leading artists of our time.  A lyric tenor with forays into lirico-spinto and baroque repertoire, he has performed leading roles in operas ranging from Monteverdi’s The Return of Ulysses to Verdi’s Don Carlo. Villazón joined host Oliver Camacho from the Santa Fe Opera festival where he starred in the title role of Monteverdi’s Orfeo.
