Grammy Award-winning baritone Lucas Meachem, one of the most accomplished, in-demand singers of the moment, continues to captivate audiences worldwide. His first solo album Shall We Gather featuring his wife, pianist Irina Meachem, was praised by BBC Music Magazine as having “vibrant and committed performances” with Meachem delivering “a heartbreakingly beautiful performance.” Lucas Meachem returns to WFMT to share selections from Shall We Gather and to preview his upcoming performance in the title role of Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the Chicago Symphony Chorus and Orchestra.
