33 years old, with movie-star good looks, a glamorous tone quality, and the acting chops to match, Jonathan Tetelman has rapidly risen to become a major star of his generation. The Chilean-American tenor was heard last month in Puccini’s La rondine and continues his debut season at the Met in Madama Butterfly. He joins WFMT to discuss being a young lirico-spinto tenor and to share his new album, The Great Puccini. This summer, Tetelman makes his Chicago debut with Opera Festival of Chicago.
