An interview with tenor Julian Prégardien, who has distinguished himself in Early Music and lieder with his clear tone and detailed attention to text. The German singer is the son of Christoph Prégardien, another exceptional artist who specializes in similar repertoire. Julian Prégardien is featured on two recordings released this summer: Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin with pianist Kristian Bezuidenhout and Monteverdi’s Orfeo with the stylish French ensemble Les Épopées.
Julian and Christoph Prégardien sing a favorite Schubert song with pianist Michael Gees.
