One of the most exciting talents to have emerged in recent years, 30 year-old British baritone Huw Montague Rendall has already made hugely acclaimed debuts on some of the world’s most important stages such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opéra National de Paris, Festival d’Aix en Provence, and the Salzburg, Glyndebourne, and Santa Fe Opera Festivals, earning rapturous acclaim for his compelling artistry, stage craft and musicianship. Rendall joins WFMT at the start of a milestone season that includes his debut at Wigmore Hall, a house and role debut as Billy Budd at Vienna State Opera, and the release of his first solo album Contemplation.
