On January 18, the Metropolitan Opera will broadcast a performance of Puccini’s Tosca from last fall featuring the Met debut of the barnstorming British-Italian tenor Freddie De Tommaso and the current reigning Norwegian primadonna Lise Davidsen. Listening to Singers revisits the interview with Davidsen as she was preparing to make her Lyric Opera debut, and the conversation with De Tommaso, who had just made his American debut at Santa Fe Opera.
