Amanda Forsythe is in high demand for her interpretations of Handel and other 17th an 18th century repertoire. She is a rare soprano to have been showcased by both Music of the Baroque and Chicago Symphony Orchestra in solo aria performances — Handel arias for their own sake, rather than in the context of a complete work. Within the last 11 months, she has been featured on three separate recordings of Baroque music with the Boston Early Music Festival, Apollo’s Fire, and Opera Prima. She joins WFMT to share selections from those recent recordings and her approach to the music of Handel and Telemann.  Recorded at the 2025 Boston Early Music Festival.
