Amanda Forsythe is in high demand for her interpretations of Handel and other 17th an 18th century repertoire. She is a rare soprano to have been showcased by both Music of the Baroque and Chicago Symphony Orchestra in solo aria performances — Handel arias for their own sake, rather than in the context of a complete work. Within the last 11 months, she has been featured on three separate recordings of Baroque music with the Boston Early Music Festival, Apollo’s Fire, and Opera Prima.
