Violinist/violist Janine Jansen has been playing music ever since she could read. The Dutch performer’s solo began at age 15 with a performance alongside the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and she hasn’t looked back since. Tonight, she appears alongside the Berlin Philharmonic to play one of the most romantic, emotional concertos in violin repertoire: Brahms’s Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 77. Kirill Petrenko conducts.
