An alumnus of the Steans Institute Singers Program, British tenor Laurence Kilsby is a recent First Prize winner at both the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and the Cesti Competition for Baroque Opera. His barnstorming career already includes debuts at the Aix-en-Provence, Innsbruck, Adelaide, and Glyndebourne festivals; collaborations with premier early music ensembles Jupiter, Pygmalion, Les Talens Lyriques, and the Monteverdi Choir and Orchestra; and five performances at the BBC Proms. Kilsby joins WFMT to share selections from his debut solo album and highlights from his 2026 BBC Proms program with Thomas Dunford’s Jupiter Ensemble.
