Call it tympanon, hackbrett, cymbalon, dulcimer, or zither, tonight’s program features Komalé Akakpo in a solo recital of 17th-century works played on the hammered dulcimer. Recorded live in concert during the Music In Paradise Festival, held during the last two weeks of August in Seminary Church, a former Cisterian monastery in the Polish town of Paradyż.
