Soprano, Emily Pogorelc is featured in this recital with guest pianist Christopher Reynolds. She will be performing a variety of works from the 19th and 20th century including Schubert, Boulanger, Grieg, Sibelius and Rachmaninoff. The program will end with one of Gustav Mahler’s most emotional works “Das himmlische Leben”. We will also be speaking with Lyric Opera of Chicago’s General Director, Anthony Freud about the work that the Ryan Opera Center does.
