Ahead of the esteemed duo's performance at UChicago Presents, Tal & Groethuysen, who first joined forces in 1985, visited WFMT for an Impromptu of piano four-hands music by Mozart, Schubert, and lesser-known French composer Louis Théodore Gouvy, who was a contemporary of Liszt. Enjoy this evocative performance of Schubert's Fantasy in F Minor.

Duo Tal & Groethuysen performs works of Mozart, Schubert, Wagner, Debussy, and Strauss on Friday, January 10 at Mandel Hall on the University of Chicago Campus as part of UChicago Presents.
