The American lyric tenor Frank Lopardo triumphed at the world’s leading opera houses in a wide-ranging repertoire, and recorded a number of his signature Bel Canto roles. He joins Oliver to discuss being part of an iconic production of Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri (with Agnes Baltsa and Ruggero Raimonid!) and how singing the role of Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni informed his entire career.
