Mezzo-soprano Clara Osowski and pianist Tyler Wottrich are an award-winning duo. In international competition, they became the first ever American prize winners placing second at Thomas Quasthoff’s 2017 International Das Lied Competition. Later that year, the duo was also one of four to reach the finals in the Wigmore Hall Song Competition in London, and Clara was awarded the Richard Tauber Prize for the best interpretation of Schubert Lieder.

On May 15, Clara and Tyler are the guest artists for Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago’s Summer Lieder Lounge. They join Oliver to discuss the art of collaboration and crafting a song recital.
