Ring in the New Year with a performance that celebrates remarkable emerging artists in Chicago! Members of Lyric Opera’s Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center join the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for a concert of opera selections and more, including the iconic Act II party scene from Johann Strauss, Jr.’s high-spirited operetta Die Fledermaus. Italian-born Stefano Sarzani, a member of Lyric’s music staff since 2018, leads this grand finale to Civic’s 2021/22 Season recorded June 6, 2022.
