An American Salute: Rhapsody in Blue

Michelle Cann, the pianist who opened Grant Park’s 2022 season, returns to Pritzker Pavilion as soloist in George Gershwin’s dazzling Rhapsody in Blue. Music by Joan Tower, Edmond Dédé, and Leonard Bernstein fills outs this program of music from and inspired by the US conducted by Christopher Bell and presented in honor of Independence Day.
