Pianist and author Graham Johnson is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading vocal accompanists. He devised and accompanied iconic sets of the complete songs of Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann for Hyperion Records collaborating with many distinguished singers. On this extended episode of Listening to Singers, Graham Johnson presents fellows from the 2022 Steans Music Institute Program for Singers in a program of song titled It Never Did Run Smooth…True Love Falling Apart and Under Siege.
