Music for low voices are featured in this wide-raging recital. Baritone Ian Rucker will perform music of Gustav Mahler and H. Leslie Adams’s Five Millay Songs. Bass-Baritone Christopher Humbert, Jr. will sing music by Cole Porter, Undine Smith Moore, and Georges Bizet’s “Votre toast, je peux vous le rendre”, from Carmen. And together they will perform, “Agony” from Stephen Sondheim’s musical Into the Woods. They will be joined on the piano by Michael Banwarth.
