Did you know that Mozart wrote his first work for the stage at the age of eleven? To mark the 268th anniversary of the composer’s birth, host Oliver Camacho will share favorite selections from Apollo and Hyacinth, Mitridate, and La finta giardiniera –operas by the precocious genius that trace the emergence of a master storyteller and virtuoso composer for the voice.

The duet from Mozart’s Mitridate from Jean-Pierre Ponnelle’s 1986 film featuring Yvonne Kenny and Ann Murray.
