In our recital, the singers from the Ryan Opera Center will be joined by string members of the Lyric Opera Orchestra for two pieces of music. Ryan Capozzo will perform British composer Ian Venables’ Invite, to Eternity, which was inspired by four poems by John Clare. Then Laureano Quant will join the string quartet for Samuel Barber’s endearing Dover Beach. He’ll also be joined by pianist Michael Banwarth in music by Jules Massenet, Jaime León, and Frederico Moreno Torroba.
