LOTUS Saxophone Quartet perform works by Gabriel Pierné, Fernande Decruck, Takuma Itoh and Joel Love, live at the Seventeenth Church of Christ, Scientist, Chicago.

Hailing from Arizona State University, the LOTUS Quartet, comprising members GianCarlo Lay, Johnathan Lee, Keegan Ewan, and Jerick Meagher, stands dedicated to exemplary performances and community engagement. Since their founding in 2022, this ensemble has garnered acclaim for their performances and active involvement in the cultural landscape of the Phoenix community.

The LOTUS Quartet’s musical repertoire spans a diverse range of repertoire, eliciting joy among audiences and chamber music competition juries alike. In a defining moment of their journey, the quartet was awarded 1st Place in the 2023 MTNA National Chamber Music Competition.

Distinguished by their seamless transitions across a spectrum of genres, including classical, jazz, and pop, the LOTUS Quartet is dedicated to forging a profound connection with their audience. Their mission extends beyond mere entertainment, as they strive to create a remarkable and personalized experience for all who partake in their musical journey. Through their artistry, the LOTUS Quartet seeks to elevate the concert experience, leaving an indelible impression on the hearts of their listeners.

Members of the LOTUS Quartet are all undergraduate music students studying with Christopher Creviston.
