Arias from the Classical and bel canto periods are mixed with American songbook favorites and gospel music in a recital featuring tenor Travon D. Walker and baritone Sankara Harouna. Travon will also be heard in Poulenc’s extraordinary song-cycle Tel jour telle nuit and Sankara will be heard one of the great love arias in all of opera featured in Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades. They will be joined by pianist collaborator Michael Banwarth.
