The boutique music venue Guarneri Hall, nestled in a Loop office building, has announced an expanded 2025-26 season of chamber recitals spanning diverse eras and styles.

The season opens with the NEXUS Chamber Music Festival, led by Guarneri’s ensemble-in-residence. The festival’s eighth edition offers three concerts featuring world premieres alongside works by Schoenberg, Kreisler, and Boccherini.

Highlights include the Borromeo String Quartet returning to perform Beethoven string quartets (September), soprano Kristina Bachrach starring in a celestial-themed vocal program (October), and a WWII commemoration concert showcasing 1940s compositions (November). Franz Schubert and Elizabeth Ogonek share the spotlight in another evening of curated repertoire (January).

In February, LA jazz artist Michael Mayo makes his Chicago debut, headlining the hall’s second annual jazz series. March’s American Mirror Project draws inspiration from Chicago’s history, while April brings an eco-themed program.

The season closes in April, with pianist Stephen Prutsman returning to provide a live score for Buster Keaton’s College.

All concerts offer $50 general admission (student discounts available), including access to a post-show reception.
