We conclude the 2024-25 Ryan Opera Center Recital Series with an exceptionally varied program pairing tenor Travon D. Walker and pianist Michael Banwarth. They will perform songs of Richard Strauss and Benjamin Britten as well as Undine Smith Moore and Hoagy Carmichael. Michael will have a solo piano feature with Chopin’s Ballade No. 3. And Travon will be heard in music from two great song cycles. Samuel Barber’s Hermit Songs and Robert Schumann’s Liederkreis.
