NEW YORK (AP) — Blues legend Buddy Guy will release a new album on Wednesday, his 89th birthday. Titled Ain’t Done with the Blues, it features Peter Frampton and the Eagles’ Joe Walsh. The album arrives a few months after Guy made an appearance in Ryan Coogler’s critically acclaimed vampire thriller Sinners. Guy told The Associated Press that he is dedicated to keeping the blues alive. That’s why he acted in the movie and why he’s continuing to release new music. He hopes younger people discover the blues and keep the American music at the forefront of conversation.
