Pianist Kirill Gerstein is renowened for his versatilty. From Baroque suites to Romantic concerts, jazz and even cabaret, the acclaimed Russian-American pianist doesn’t allow himself to be defined by any genre. Gerstein joined the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in Copenhagen last fall to perform the Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor, Op.15. Also on the program was the Entr’acte no. 3 from Rosamunde,  and Shostakovich’s 9th Symphony. Elim Chan conducts.
