Spanish zarzuela and Puerto Rican art songs are paired with French and German favorites in out next recital from the Ryan Opera Center. We’l hear soprano Emily Richter in songs by Richard Strauss, Claude Debussy, and Florence Price. Mezzo-Soprano Camille Robles will be heard in music from Spanish composer José Serrano’s zarzuela Los Claveles, Massenet’s Werther and songs by Puerto Rican composer Héctor Campos Parsi and Cuban Ernesto Lecuona. They will be joined by Michael Banwarth on piano.
