Chamber Music on the Fox returns for its tenth season. The series offers chamber recitals in Elgin and for the first time this season, Aurora. Across five flagship programs and two additional special events, the series mines chamber repertoire spanning centuries.

The season opens on September 24 with the Avalon String Quartet performing quartets by Borodin and Shostakovich.

In the winter, offerings include an exploration of early music featuring the Black Tulip Ensemble, a free Concert for Elgin, and a Christmas concert starring STEAM Irish Quartet. Subsequent performances focus on Romantic piano quartets and Mussorgsky’s iconic Pictures at an Exhibition.

Aside from February’s Concert for Elgin, all programs will receive two live performances and will be made available for virtual viewing.
