The Harris Theater for Music and Dance has announced the 2025-26 season of its flagship Harris Theater Presents series. Welcoming music and dance presentations from Chicago and beyond, the season runs from August 2025 to May 2026.
The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center returns for another set of Chicago appearances. The collective’s first performance takes place in November in a viola-centric program. Then in December, CMS reprises its holiday season tradition: the Brandenburg Concertos. March sees the group performing music of Brahms, Shostakovich, and Schubert, before they close out their season appearances in May with Saint-Saëns, Fauré, and more.
The respected, inter-genre collective Silkroad Ensemble visits the Harris in March for a wide-ranging exploration of musical traditions — from the Mediterranean to South Asia and beyond. And an intriguing November presentation examines the overlaps between Beethoven and Beyoncé’s influential catalogs featuring the Chicago Philharmonic.

The year’s dance highlights include a season-opening performance from the Chicago Black Dance Legacy Project, a November residency from the Joffrey Ballet, and New York based troupe GALLIM.
The venue’s Mix at Six series offers a casual, welcoming environment for classical music. This year’s installments welcome Damon Locks’s Black Monument Ensemble, Angel Bat Dawid, and Zara McFarlane.
