Fiesta! with Elbio Barilari
Camargo Guarnieri Festival. Brazilian Camargo Guarnieri was one of the greatest composers of the 20th century, though his music hasn’t been heard much outside of his country. His orchestral, chamber and piano music which is flavored with the sounds of Brazil has been recently rediscovered by interpreters and organizers around the world. Elbio Barilari pays tribute to this amazing composer, and we’ll hear his masterful Symphony No. 6.
